Midden Paleolithic flint scraper of Mousterian culture in the Quina facies, dating to about 250,000–40,000 years ago, measuring 73 × 39 mm and in excellent condition, acquired in 2000 from a private collection in Belgium with authentic original provenance.

This Middle Paleolithic scraper is a classic example of the Quina type, made from flint and found in the Dordogne. Made on a flake and further retouched. It fits perfectly in the hand and was used by Neanderthal populations during the Mousterian, about 40,000–250,000 years ago
This is a textbook example of the Quina facies from the Mousterian with the characteristic retouche.
