Offered at auction is an iconic Lubitel 2 twin-lens reflex camera, manufactured by LOMO (Leningrad Optical-Mechanical Association) in the former Soviet Union. This model played a key role in making medium format photography accessible to amateur photographers and is today highly appreciated in the analog collectors’ market.
The body is made of black bakelite with textured finish, typical of Soviet industrial production: lightweight, durable, and visually distinctive. The design is functional and minimal, featuring a waist-level finder with ground glass focusing screen.
