Coffee service - style Louis XVI / néoclassique - Silverplated

Rare and elegant old tea and coffee service in high-quality gilded metal, belonging to French neoclassical productions of the second half of the 19th century, attributed by its decorative vocabulary, its construction and its proportions to the Blaise Bontemps workshop, goldsmith in the great Parisian tradition. This service belongs to a Louis XVI Neoclassicism revisited in the 19th century, with Empire influence in the structure:

Notable characteristics:

- Toned body resting on stepped foot-rings
- Vertical fluting decor on the lower parts
- Molded bead friezes
- Handles with fittings adorned with foliate drops and stylized palmette motifs
- Spout with a straight line, well drawn
- Double-scroll handles, very elaborately worked
- Knob lids in seed/pinecone, typical of the neoclassical vocabulary

Numbers and workshop marks visible on all pieces.

Good overall condition, with signs of use appropriate to its age
Small impacts visible on the teapot: (clearly visible in the photographs, without structural deformation)
