L. Bertrand - Serving plate (23) - Aubépine - Earthenware, Terre de fer

Description: Very beautiful fine earthenware tableware set from the Bordeaux manufacturer L. Bertrand, heir to the tradition of Bordeaux ceramics. This service features the lovely model "Aubépine", a monochrome green botanical motif of flowers and hawthorn branches, applied by transfer on a cream background. Stamped with the manufacturer's mark and serial number.

Composition 23 pieces:
• 1 soup tureen with its lid.
• 9 deep plates (21.5 cm).
• 10 flat plates (21.5 cm).
• 2 large service plates (29 cm).
• 1 large platter offered (chipped and cracked) (29 cm).

Condition:
Authentic pieces showing a beautiful patina of time. Noted natural glaze crazing and some spots of old coloration under glaze. The large platter, offered, has a chip (see last photo).
The rest of the set is in good condition for its age, with no major crack visible.
