Silver eucharistic pyx resting on a circular moulded foot, with a baluster stem and a hemispherical bowl.
The domed lid is surmounted by a trefoil cross. The interior in vermeil, in accordance with liturgical use for the storage of consecrated hosts.
Visible hallmarks: Minerva head, attesting to solid silver (French legal fineness, after 1838). Also present is a maker's mark in a lozenge shape, difficult to read.
