Description from the seller
GERMANY. Berlin. 1/2 Mark. 1914. William II (1888-1918)
- Value: 1/2 Mark.
- Reign: William II (1888-1918).
- Year: 1914.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: crowned German Imperial Eagle, with the legend DEUTSCHES REICH and the date 1914. Reverse: face value 1/2 MARK in the center, surrounded by laurel and oak crown.
- Grade: MS63 (NGC).
Half-mark silver coin with a classic heraldic representation of the German Empire. The obverse features the naturalistic-styled imperial eagle, with good detail in plumage and crown, highlighting sharp relief and clean fields. The reverse presents the facial value 1/2 Mark within a finely engraved vegetal crown, balanced and well centered. The specimen preserves original, visible luster with light and uniform patina, and only minimal contact marks consistent with its grade of preservation, offering a highly attractive and solid presence for its late-Imperial emission.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
