Description from the seller

GERMANY. Berlin. 1/2 Mark. 1917. Wilhelm II (1888-1918)

- Value: 1/2 Mark.
- Reign: Wilhelm II (1888-1918).
- Year: 1917.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: crowned German imperial eagle, with the legend DEUTSCHES REICH and the date 1917. Reverse: denomination 1/2 MARK in the center, surrounded by a laurel and oak crown.
- Grade: MS63 (NGC).

Half-Mark silver coin with a classic heraldic representation of the German Empire. The obverse shows the naturalistic-style imperial eagle, with good detail in the plumage and crown, featuring sharp relief and clean fields. The reverse presents the face value 1/2 Mark within a finely engraved vegetal crown, balanced and well centered. The specimen retains visible original lustre, with a light and even patina, and only minimal cut or contact marks consistent with its grade, offering a very attractive and solid presence for its late German Empire issue.

Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to be absolutely clear that I ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has special tax agreements (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
