EGYPT. Cairo. 50 Pounds. 2018
- Value: 50 Pounds.
- Year: 2018 (AH1440).
- Inscriptions: Obverse with the facial value in Arabic and in English “FIFTY POUNDS”, surrounded by Arabic inscription and geometric border; reverse with a bust of Gamal Abdel Nasser looking front-right, the value “100” in Arabic and the dates 1918–1970 in Arabic.
- Grade: MS65 (PCGS).
Egyptian silver commemorative coin dedicated to Gamal Abdel Nasser, president and key figure of modern Egypt, with a portrait of strong expressive power and excellent definition of features. The obverse features a balanced and ornamental design, combining traditional Arabic script with Latin typography, while the reverse stands out for the sculptural quality of the bust. A PCGS-certified specimen in Mint State 65, with original luster, minimal contact marks, and very superior visual appeal, especially valued within Egypt’s modern high-denomination issues.
