LAOS. 50 Cents. 1952. Sisavang Vong (1904-1959)

- Reign: Sisavang Vong (1904-1959).
- Year: 1952.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: FOYAUME DU LAOS · ລາວ ອິດສະຫຼະ ປະຊາທິປະໄຕ · CICU UNIS · 1952, ceremonial monument with pedestal and sun rays. Reverse: 50 CENTS, central stylized floral ornament, Lao characters and date 1952.
- Grade: MS64 (NGC).
Aluminium coin with a central hole issued in the early years of the Kingdom of Laos, of symbolic and refined style. The obverse features a ceremonial monument with radiating rays, of clear relief and balanced composition, while the reverse shows the face value flanked by a geometric vegetal ornament inspired by traditional design. The piece retains original satin luster, clean fields and well-defined reliefs, with minimal contact marks in line with the grade, offering a fresh and very attractive specimen for its type.
