PAKISTAN. 10 Paisa. 1962.
- Value: 10 Paisa.
- Year: 1962.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: crescent moon and star over a caligraphic emblem in Urdu, surrounded by the legend GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN. Reverse: value 10 in Arabic and Latin numerals, flanked by a vegetal crown, with the date 1962 and legends in Urdu and in English.
- Grade: MS62 (NGC).
Copper-nickel alloy coin with a scalloped shape, representative of the first stage of the Pakistani decimal system. The obverse features a symbolic design of strong national identity, with the crescent and the star as Islamic emblems, integrated with an elaborated central ornamental calligraphy. The reverse shows the face value prominently, framed by a classical-inspired vegetal crown, with well-defined reliefs and correct arrangement of the bilingual legends. A specimen with original shine partially preserved, clean fields and uniform light-golden patina, with slight surface marks typical of the grade, offering a balanced and attractive visual presence.
