Ancient Late Babylonian chalcedony domed seal. The octagonal base engraved with a standing worshipper praying with raised hands before an altar, above is a star.

British Museum, Museum Number: 22439 and 1881,1103.1926
Date: Late Babylonian, ca. 600 - 400 B.C.
Material: Chalcedony
Size: ca. 2,55 cm
Condition: small chips, otherwise intact
Provenance: private French collection, prior to that US estate, formed before 1960
Dispatch only to addresses within the EU.
The authenticity of the item is unconditionally guaranteed.
