Wall console in hand‑carved Madeira wood in a Black Forest style from Central Europe, dating to mid‑20th century (ca. 1940–1950 or 1950–1960), 75 cm wide, 37 cm high, 17 cm deep, weighing 4 kg, in good structural condition with minor signs of aging and stains, featuring a central angel figure.
Description from the seller
Excellent and very large wall console, in the Black Forest style, originating from Central Europe, dating from the mid-20th century.
Entirely in handcrafted chestnut wood, it features an angel as the central and main figure.
A work of excellence, it is in very good structural condition, very solid; it has a crack on the back, but it is not a break—the wood has cracked, something that occasionally happens with wood as it expands or contracts.
