Large Delft Blue and White earthenware charger, 32 cm in diameter and 4 cm high, dating from 1850–1900, fully marked on the reverse with the APK monogram, in excellent condition with a high-gloss tin glaze and minimal fritting.

An exceptional and large high quality charger from the Dutch Delftware.
Historical Significance
Mark: Fully marked on the reverse with the intertwined APK monogram and a painter’s tally mark.
Artistic Decoration
Center: A masterfully painted central roundel featuring a songbird perched on a stylized blossom, rendered with the delicate, fluid brushwork.
Border: A broad, lobed rim decorated with alternating "Floral and Scroll" panels in the deep, rich cobalt blue.
Condition Report
State: Excellent antique condition. The body is solid with no cracks, no hairlines, and no restorations.
Surface: Retains a beautiful high-gloss tin-glaze. Very minor, age-appropriate "fritting" (rim glaze-flakes).
