Decorative plaque - Plaquette - Plaster, Silver

Refined decorative plaque made with a plaster base and a 925 silver coating, worked with relief technique that depicts a evocative view of an Italian medieval village. The scene includes a castle, crenellated towers, ramparts, Mediterranean vegetation (pines and tall trees) and a boat moored in the foreground, which gives depth and atmosphere to the composition.
The sterling silver coating is carefully applied by hand to the plaster surface, enhancing every detail of the relief: texture of the stone walls, vegetation, water and sky are rendered with great precision.
On the front, in the bottom right corner, there is the stamped mark "Arg. 925", certifying the purity of the sterling silver coating.
The back shows the plaster structure with scratches and various marks. Previously it was glued to a frame.
