The Sony TA/F419R is a reliable amplifier from the early nineties, known for its clear and dynamic sound reproduction. With a power of 65 watts per channel at 8 Ohms, it has ample headroom to drive speakers like the KEF Coda 9 with ease. The design uses Sony’s Spontaneous Twin Drive/technology/ which provides a stable power supply and an improved dynamic range. Thanks to the Source Direct/function, the signal can bypass the tone controls for a purer audio experience. The amplifier is solidly built and features six inputs/ including a high-quality MM/phono/trap for turntables.
