Description from the seller
Natural Amethyst-Agate Obelisk – rare crystal structure with an agate matrix
This exceptional obelisk combines an open amethyst druse with artfully banded agate in a single natural piece. The front showcases a densely grown amethyst crystal surface with intensely violet, sparkling crystal tips that shimmer lively depending on the light, giving the piece impressive depth.
In contrast, the polished back reveals a fascinating agate structure with natural banding in white, cream, green, and warm ocher tones. These mineral layers almost resemble an abstract landscape and tell of the stone's slow geological formation.
The transition between the raw crystal structure and the smooth agate surface makes this piece particularly exciting and unique. The obelisk form underlines the stone's natural effect and gives it a powerful, upward-drawing presence.
A rare and decorative collectible that showcases the beauty of amethyst and agate in an extraordinary combination.
