Table setting consisting of: 8 flute glasses height 20.2 cm and diameter 6.2 cm and a cylindrical carafe height 26.7 cm and diameter 9 cm. Glass characteristics: slender stem and flat round base. Hand-blown mouth-blown crystal pieces incised by hand by Treviso master Italo Varisco, an artist renowned for his mastery. Artist: Italo Varisco, signed on every piece. Decoration: Engraving depicting grape leaves and grape clusters. Condition: Collectible object. Italo Varisco (died February 2026) was known worldwide for his true masterpieces born of experimentation, love and respect for the raw material, and solid training begun from a very young age at the Murano glass experimental school. Varisco’s résumé also boasts numerous awards, as well as creations exhibited in private collections and in museums, as well as the creation of World Cups in the most important sporting competitions. A few years ago, Italo Varisco also saw his artistic value and commitment recognized with an honorary doctorate in architecture awarded by a U.S. university.
