Figurine - Porcellana biscuit

Biscuit porcelain statue depicting a female mythological figure with a draped classical-style garment and sandals.
Allegorical, probably linked to the theme of the beginning of the industrial era, as suggested by the hammer and the cogwheel on which the foot rests.
Painted in very delicate pastel colors.
Provenance: France, first half of the 20th century.
