This hand-knotted Oriental rug in the classic Tabriz design features a dense, regularly arranged floral scatter pattern.

The inner field is light and covered with numerous small floral rosettes and stylized ornaments, arranged in symmetrical rows. The uniform repetition of the motifs creates a calm and very harmonious overall effect. The fine detailing makes the pattern appear lively without looking restless.

The surrounding border is designed in darker brown and natural tones and shows floral vines as well as stylized blossom motifs. Several narrow side borders frame the inner field additionally, giving the rug a clear classical structure.
