Large antique wall mirror in solid carved wood – late 19th / early 20th century

Elegant large-sized wall mirror made of solid wood, characterized by a refined shaped frame and richly carved.
The upper part features a prominent motif of leaves and scrolls in classical taste, while the base rests on a solid moulding with carved decorative details.
The style recalls Neoclassical / transitional Liberty, typical of bourgeois furnishings between the late 19th and early 20th century.
Original period mirror (or at least antique), set in its original frame.
Conditions: good overall considering its age. Normal signs of wear and a light patina attest to its authenticity. No obvious structural damage.
