An original set of Philips 22RH544 Electronic Motional Feedback loudspeakers, produced in the Netherlands in the 1970s, is offered. These speakers belong to the well-known Philips MFB-series and are renowned for their very precise and controlled bass response.
The Motional Feedback system uses a sensor in the woofer that continuously measures the cone’s movement and corrects it. This produces a particularly tight and controlled sound image that was revolutionary at the time and is still appreciated by enthusiasts today.
The speakers have been refurbished and serviced about 7 months ago, ensuring they function correctly.
Each speaker contains a built-in amplifier, making the system active and able to be driven directly via a line signal.
The cabinets are in neat vintage condition with light signs of use appropriate for their age. The front grills are present and the drivers are original, as visible in the photos.
