Pioneer - SX-535 Solid state stereo receiver

Offered: a truly splendid Pioneer SX-535 AM/FM stereo receiver from the golden era of HiFi (circa 1974-1976). This unit comes from the original owner, which is unique for a device over 50 years old.

The receiver is in very nice cosmetic condition. The classic silver front panel is spotless and the wooden cabinet shows only minimal signs of use that are appropriate for its age. The iconic blue dial illumination glows beautifully and immediately gives the room that warm, nostalgic 70s atmosphere.

Technically the SX-535 is known for its "practical power": although modest in wattage, it delivers a very warm, full and detailed sound that suits both vinyl and modern streaming sources.

Despite this careful inspection, a defect may occur on receipt or over time. Because of the age of the equipment, such malfunctions can arise unexpectedly and are beyond our control.

For this reason we cannot provide a warranty on vintage equipment. We understand this may be inconvenient and believe it is important to be transparent and honest about it. Of course we do our utmost to deliver each unit in as good a condition as possible.

We pack our products very carefully to minimize the chance of transport damage.

Additionally, we insure every shipment with transport insurance.
