The vase features a slender and harmonious shape with a circular base worked and a slightly flared upper neck. The glossy surface of the silver is enriched by a refined central relief band finely chased. A distinctive element of the decoration is the evocative lion’s head at the center of the ornamental band: the face, crafted with great care in detail, shows intense features, a flowing mane and a carved beard, elements that recall classical motifs inspired by the Baroque.
