Antique Louis XV-style Bacheca Coffee Table in Bois de Rose with Ceramic Plaquettes – Napoleon III Era
Refined bacheca-style coffee table in Louis XV style, made in bois de rose during the Napoleon III era, featuring elegant sinuous lines and rich applied decoration.
The upper top, octagonal in shape, is embellished with a central glass insert that allows viewing the interior lined with burgundy fabric. The glass is framed by a slim molded edge and by a pierced gallery in gilded metal that runs along the entire perimeter, lending lightness and preciousness to the whole.
The lower fascia is decorated with finely chased bronze appliques and enriched by circular ceramic plaques painted with multicolored floral motifs, inserted within ornamental frames. In the center there is a lock with a hanging tassel.
