Description from the seller
Napoleon III Rosewood Tilt-Top Cabinet with Floral Inlays – Late 19th Century to Early 20th Century
Elegant rosewood cabinet, made between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century in Napoleon III style, characterized by rich floral inlay decorations in precious woods.
The front is adorned with refined floral motifs and finely inlaid scrolls, which stand out harmoniously against the warm tone of bois de rose. The fall-front conceals an internal writing surface, and the piece features a solid and well-proportioned structure, typical of French taste of the period.
The sinuous and elegant lines, combined with the quality of the polychrome inlays, confer great refinement and decorative value to the furniture. The natural patina of time further enhances the depth of the woods used.
A piece with great charm, ideal for studies, living rooms, or classical interiors, perfect as a writing desk or a high-quality decorative element.
