Magnificent handmade or vintage walking cane, late 19th / early 20th century style, with a highly expressive and realistic sculpted handle shaped like a greyhound's head.
Détails principaux :
Handle: Greyhound head, elongated snout, elegant, pinned-back ears, carved details imitating fur, and inset glass eyes that give a lively, striking gaze.
Shaft (rod): Natural gnarled and twisted thornwood, with a rustic, very sought-after organic look. Authentic irregular texture, no repairs.
Ferrule (lower end cap): Polished brass, in excellent condition, no excessive wear.
Total height: 91 cm (a comfortable standard size for someone about 1.70–1.85 m).
