On one side of the cap we find two enamelled metal pieces bearing the two characteristic Alfa Romeo symbols: the four-leaf clover and the brand shield.

The "Alfa Romeo Clover", or Quadrifoglio, is the emblem of the high-performance line of Alfa Romeo vehicles. The emblem comes from driver Hugo Sivocci, who in 1923 painted a green four-leaf clover on his car to attract good luck before winning the Targa Florio race. After his tragic death, the clover became a tribute and a sign of the brand’s sports and racing vehicles.
The Alfa Romeo logo combines the red cross on a white background, which is the flag of Milan, with the Biscione, a serpent devouring a man and a symbol of the Visconti family, founders of the brand.
