Case - Silver

Solid round box in solid silver of Egyptian origin featuring a Greek-style frieze carved around the edge of the lid. The bottom of the box as well as the inside of the lid bear the official Egyptian hallmarks, including the lotus flower, the national symbol used after 1946, as well as the title and date marks in Arabic script. The object weighs about 43.5 g. Its dimensions are about 5.2 cm in diameter with a height of about 1.5 cm. The overall condition is good with a functional locking mechanism, although the box shows a few scratches and light wear due to its age.
