Radiola Philips CURLING POMPON Space Age turntable, manufactured in 1972, in excellent physical and functional condition, weighing 2.3 kg, includes a power cord and can play 33, 45 and 78 rpm records with automatic end-stop.
Description from the seller
Here is a beautiful Space Age Radiola Philips turntable model from the 1970s, known in France as CURLING and POMPON in the Netherlands and Germany
operates on AC mains 110/127/220/240 or 6 x 1.5V LR14 batteries not supplied (it is currently set to 220/240 volts)
electrophone with 6 transistors + 3 diodes
it can play records 33, 45, 78 rpm, with automatic stop at the end of the disc; the sapphire is in very good condition and it has its 45 rpm adapter
The overall condition is excellent, very close to new, complete and fully serviced by a technician/collector, with replacement of defective components; it works flawlessly with a remarkable sound, and what a Space Age design!
