Logniture presents a design side table in the Japanese Style with Brutalist influences, made of solid black charred oak with brass rods, 53 cm wide, 26 cm high and 33 cm deep, originating from Croatia and in as new condition.
Description from the seller
Charred wood side table with organic sculptural form and floating silhouette. A unique designer piece ideal for modern, Japandi, or brutalist interiors.
This side table is a meditation on levitation and balance. Rounded, smoothed elements—charred to a matte black—are stacked with brass supports that seem to defy weight, allowing the top to hover like an obsidian cloud. The contours are softened by fire, yet each surface retains the tactile memory of woodgrain and time.
Chainsaw-carved from solid hardwood and finished using the Shou Sugi Ban technique, the piece achieves a darkened elegance. The floating structure rests upon bulbous, pebble-like feet that create a playful and grounded geometry. This is functional sculpture—minimal yet elemental.
Materials: Solid hardwood(oak), brass rods
Finish: Charred and sealed using natural oils & waxes; brush-textured surface
