A meticulous and very complex piece of craftsmanship from the last century, entirely handmade.
Italy around 1980/90. In excellent condition, as it has never been used because it comes from the warehouse of a Murano glassworks that closed in the early 2000s. Complete and functional with a new electrical system.
It has a five-arm gold-colored metal frame from which chains of glass prisms extend, from which hang small clusters of cherries: each cluster is made of two cherries and two green glass leaves. (see all the photos to appreciate their beauty). At the top part of the stem, small plums made of the same cherry glass hang.
Height 60 cm, which becomes 100 cm with an adjustable chain and ceiling canopy. Diameter 48 cm.
Electrical system functioning, supports E14 bulbs.

I mainly collect Murano chandeliers thanks to the collaboration with some companies that restore apartments and palaces in Venice. In this way, over time, I have recovered the chandeliers of elegant and often ancient houses in the lagoon and in the nearby areas.
Murano glass has an incomparable charm: every piece, even the simplest, has a story hidden in its fragility and its iridescent light.
