Elegant Coffee / Tea Set – Silver on Copper

The item of the auction is a stylish, plated set for serving coffee or tea, made in the Silver on Copper technology (silver on copper). The set features a classic design with rich embellishments in the form of botanical reliefs and an exquisite engraving on the tray.

The set includes:

Large numbered pot with lid,
Height - 25 cm

Sugar bowl with lid,
Height - 15 cm
Width - 15 cm
Depth - 9 cm

Creamer,
Height 10 cm
Width - 13 cm
Depth - 9 cm

Two large, ornate trays.

The set shows natural signs of use and the passage of time, which give it an authentic character.

Surface wear: On some elements there are localized wear of the silver plating, through which copper shows. This is most noticeable on the lid of the pot and on the mirrored surface of the tray. The items are coated with a natural patina. The trays have visible discoloration and darker stains in the central part of the engraving. The pot’s hinge is functional. Handles are stable. The interiors of the vessels require refreshing/cleaning.

The surface has small scratches, with no deep dents.

Signature: On the bottom of the vessels there is a punch with a crown symbol and the inscription “SILVER ON COPPER”.

The set presents very well and will be a striking ornament for a stylish table or display cabinet.
