Description from the seller

Secessionist pitcher, the body is made of hammered thick glass and the rest is silver-plated, by silversmith Armand Frenais Silvermith
The pitcher bears all floral decorations and the silversmith's marks
Armand Frenais was one of Paris's most prestigious silversmiths of the Belle Époque, known for having challenged the dominance of giants like Christofle thanks to producing items of the highest quality in both solid silver and silver-plated metal. Active from the mid-19th century to the early decades of the 20th century, the workshop distinguished itself by using durable alloys such as nickel silver (alpacca) and brass, as well as an exclusive "extra-white" metal that guaranteed superior shine. The production identity is tied to the famous maker's mark featuring an anchor flanked by the initials "AF", a symbol that underwent several graphic evolutions over the decades, allowing today to date pieces with precision and to distinguish the different historical phases of this French house of art.
