There are about 128 very diverse congratulatory postcards for the festive seasons Christmas, Easter, Pentecost, Confirmation, and other Christian occasions from the years roughly 1895 to 1918, during the monarchy in Germany and Austria.
The offered postcards / greeting cards come from the estate of a collector and are mostly in good condition. A large part of the cards are “used.” Both sides of each card have been scanned, thus the condition is well documented.
Note: the regular, wavy image distortions visible in some illustrations are due to scanning of postcards produced with screen printing (or similar printing processes with regular fine structures such as dots, polygons, etc.) and are not visible on the postcard itself!
