Box - Wood - Desk box

An inlaid wooden desk casket from about the mid-19th century. The interior has compartments and is of a small, shallow form; the exterior is entirely inlaid on the lid and sides in the so-called "Maggiolini" style. It rests on four little feet and with square-headed nails of the period. Patina of age and very slight losses in the carving (see photos) with dimensions of 26 x 19 x 8 cm.
