ZYP A2ST Pair – Vintage British Shielded Nearfield Monitors by Presence Audio from the 1990s – Excellent collectible condition.

Absolute rarity for audiophiles and hi-fi collectors of vintage British gear!
A pair of ZYP A2ST (shielded version) from Presence Audio (West Sussex, England), manufactured in the 1990s with 100% British design and components (“British Design • British Components • British Built”).
These compact 2-way passive monitors are true boutique jewels: black textured cast-aluminum enclosure (powder-coated), non-parallel sides to minimize resonances, premium British drivers (solid-cone woofer + 1” dome tweeter alloy), high-pass crossover at 3 kHz for clean midrange and natural vocals.

In the legendary Sound on Sound review (1995), they were praised for their balanced and neutral sound, surprisingly deep bass extension for their ultra-compact size (“true bass”), excellent stereo imaging, and nearfield accuracy. Ideal for small studios, MIDI, digital editing, or hi-fi in tight spaces. Spiritually comparable to mini Rogers LS3/5A or early ATC/PMC, but with a unique aluminum enclosure and extreme rarity (brand discontinued decades ago).

Condition: Excellent vintage condition – original drivers intact (no tears or visible deformations), cabinet without major dents, original textured black grille in perfect condition. 100% functional (recently tested). Signs of normal use/age only (see detailed photos: front, rear, terminals, drivers, and ZYP logo). Unrestored – retain authentic patina.
