Description from the seller

Double-body sideboard with a raised top, a classic piece of European furniture dating roughly to the first half of the twentieth century, probably between the 1920s and the 1940s.
Here is a detailed analysis based on visible details:
1. Style and Design
The piece falls into what is often defined as Transition style or late/simplified Art Nouveau.
* The raised section: It features a central open section with a mirror (very useful for giving depth to the room) and two side doors with leaded glass in a geometric/diamond pattern. This type of glass work was typical of the Art Deco and Art Nouveau period.
* Carvings: The floral friezes carved into the wood above the doors and on the drawers are stylized, typical of artisanal craftsmanship of quality aimed at the middle class of the era.
* Lines: The legs are straight and slightly saber-shaped, which gives the furniture a solid yet slender structure.
2. Materials and Construction
* Wood: It appears to be walnut or oak. The grain is clearly visible and the warm tone suggests a wax or shellac finish.
* Hardware: The drawer handles and lock escutcheons are bronze-burnished or wrought iron, original to the period.
* Structure: From the side and rear photos it is noted that the piece is divided into two parts: the base (buffet) and the raised section.
3. Condition
The piece appears in excellent cosmetic condition. No scratches, no missing wood, or evident signs of worm in the visible parts. The leaded glass panes are intact as well, which is a major added value since repairing them today is very expensive.
