AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This pair of minimalist wall coat racks originates from the Mid-Century Modern period and was manufactured in the 1960s to early 1970s. The two elegant panels are made of high-quality teak wood and display an especially fine, even grain with warm honey- to reddish-brown tones typical for teak of that era.

The design is deliberately restrained and functional: Each panel features several small, cylindrical wooden knobs that serve as clothes hooks. On one of the elements there is additionally a curved wooden holder, which can be used for example for hangers or bags. This combination of small hooks and a larger holder increases practical usability.

The coat racks are designed for wall mounting. On the back there are recessed round hangers that allow stable and easy attachment to the wall. The small metal knobs on the front are decorative elements from the period.

Through the simple vertical form, the panels appear elegant and space-saving and fit exceptionally well with Scandinavian-influenced interiors or mid-century furnishings. The teak wood has a particularly beautiful, calm grain and a warm aura, making the coat racks both functional everyday objects and decorative wall pieces. Overall, a timeless design piece of the 1960s, distinguished by high material quality, clean lines, and careful craftsmanship.
