Antique coal bucket in brass and copper from Belgium, dating to circa 1850–1900, measuring 15 × 13 × 13 cm, with hammered dinanderie decoration and a mobile brass handle; condition fairly good with minor wear.

Old brass hammered coal bucket – Dinanderie – late 19th / early 20th century (approx. 1870–1910)
Antique hammered brass coal bucket, formerly used near fireplaces to transport and store coal or embers.
The object features artisanal dinanderie workmanship with a hammered geometric dotted motif on the upper part.
It is equipped with a mobile brass handle fixed by riveted fittings.
The bottom is fitted and brazed, with visible turning marks, which attests to traditional workmanship on a dinanderie lathe.
This type of item was common in bourgeois homes and interiors with a fireplace at the end of the 19th century.
Today, these pieces are often used as:
• decorative object
• planter
• cachepot
• fireplace accessory
Good overall condition for its age.
