Console table - Louis XV Style - Wood - Marble

Refined console in the Louis XV style, of high cabinetmaking, characterized by a pendulous and harmonious structure with volute carvings, floral motifs and finely hand-chiseled details, with a marble top.

The upper surface is made of Ivory Marble with delicate natural veining, perfectly shaped and stepped edged. Resting in the wooden frame, it follows the curvilinear pattern of the structure, to emphasize the execution quality of the workmanship. The band under the countertop is enriched with ornaments and central carvings chiselled in a stylized vegetal motif.

The four Cabriole legs feature ornaments and delightful central flowers incised. Joined and connected by shaped crosspieces, they support two lower wooden shelves, also profiled and harmoniously integrated into the structural plan, giving balance and functionality to the ensemble, with the finial feet in scrolls beautifully finished.

The presence of the two lower shelves, elegantly profiled and perfectly integrated into the structure, combines aesthetic value and functionality, making the piece ideal as an entry console, a coffee table, or a display element in representative spaces.

A piece of excellent craftsmanship, solidity and robustness with a French taste, inspired by mid-18th-century models, executed in the 20th century with good-quality carving and adequate attention to details, of great visual impact, intended for connoisseurs seeking furniture with strong decorative impact and timeless taste.
