Two Mosasaurus sp specimens from Morocco dating to the Late Cretaceous (100.5–66 Ma), with a reconstructed composite jaw fragment (condition: reconstructed) and original refurbished authenticity.
Description from the seller
Wonderful fragment of a mosasaur fossil jaw, a large marine reptile that ruled during the Late Cretaceous (100–66 million years ago).
This specimen shows four clearly visible teeth and has undergone restoration, partial reconstruction.
Some areas have been artificially enhanced to better highlight the reliefs and the jaw’s structure, a common practice in preparing fossils for display.
The fragment is presented on a simple yet elegant custom-made metal base, allowing an aesthetic display of the piece while ensuring its stability. The whole constitutes a remarkable collectible or piece of scientific decor.
Ideal for a cabinet of curiosities, a fossil collection, or objects related to the past of our Earth.
