Bamboo - 20th century

An authentic Thai Khaen (or Khene), a traditional bamboo musical instrument from Laos with 16 pipes. This special wind instrument has a distinctive sound and is a beautiful example of Southeast Asian musical tradition.
The condition is fair: a few pipes show damage, the top and bottom are fixed with plastic tape, and on one side the wax has come loose. Despite these defects, the instrument still produces a beautiful sound. A unique piece for collectors or enthusiasts of world music.
