FED CTEPEO Stereo, a rare 3D camera, tested and working, in very good physical condition, for 35mm film with two fixed Industar-81 38mm f/2.8 lenses.
Description from the seller
FED Stereo (ФЭД Стерео) camera in excellent condition, light signs of use. Rare to find this complete. Comes with the double lens cap, two sun shades, and the original leather case (the metal zipper sliders of the case (the zipper pull) are missing)
The camera has been very neatly preserved and is supplied with the original lens cap, two filters/adapter rings and the original leather case. The case is present, but the zippers are missing.
FED-Stereo was produced from 1988 to 1996 for about a year at the machine-building factory "FED" in Kharkiv. Very rare, the scope of the release is not known for sure. It is believed that there were fewer than 1000 units.
The FED CTEPEO is a unique stereo camera, designed in the former Soviet Union for capturing 3D images on 35mm film. This model was produced in the 1980s–1990s and is a rare collectible for stereo photography enthusiasts and Soviet cameras.
The camera features two identical lenses that simultaneously capture a stereo image, which, when viewed with a stereoscope or a special printing process, yields an impressive depth effect. The FED CTEPEO is inspired by earlier Soviet stereo cameras such as the Sputnik, but offers modern 35mm film compatibility and a more compact body.
