This microscope from Reichert Austria is a classic precision instrument and at the same time a beautiful collectible. With its solid metal body, composed of black-painted and brass-colored elements, it embodies the high-quality craftsmanship of past decades.
The microscope is equipped with a rotating objective cartridge, fitted with several objectives (including Jena and Lomo), offering different magnifications. A sturdy cross-stage with guides ensures precise positioning of the specimens, while a mirror beneath the stage provides illumination. Fine adjustment is achieved via side knobs, allowing precise sharpness.
The age-related condition with a slight patina and minor signs of use emphasizes its historical character. The mechanics appear complete and functional, the images are part of the condition description.
