Description from the seller

Pioneer GR-333 – The Visual and Audio Spectacle of the 80s

We present the legendary Pioneer GR-333, a stereo graphic equalizer that is as famous for its bold look as for its ability to sculpt sound with precision.

Manufactured in 1989, this model represents the spirit of the era: analog high-tech design, solid build, and a look that literally lights up your equipment rack. For the discerning collector, the GR-333 is not just a audio tool; it’s a design piece and a time capsule from Pioneer’s golden era.

Condition and Observations (Collector’s):
As shown in the images (and the honesty the vintage market demands):

Provenance: Unit manufactured in Japan.

Visual Condition: Very good. The chassis is solid and the front panel well preserved. We always seek the best condition for collectible pieces.

Functional Condition: 100% operational and tested. All sliders glide smoothly and the switches (Power, Equalizer, Tape Monitor) operate precisely. The sound is clean and noise-free (within the impressive 106 dB S/R ratio).

The Light Show: ALL LEDs on the sliders are functional and light up perfectly. This is the most critical and highly valued aspect of this model.

Professional Sound Control
Beyond the visual spectacle, the GR-333 is an extremely capable acoustic adjustment tool. While typical tone controls (bass/treble) offer a limited adjustment curve, this equalizer lets you sculpt the sound with surgical precision in 7 bands per channel.

- 7 Bands per Channel: 60, 150, 400, 1k, 2.4k, 6k and 15kHz.

- Adjustment Range: ±10 dB per band, allowing fine corrections to the room’s acoustic response or to enhance specific instruments (more punch to the kick at 60Hz, bring vocals forward at 1kHz, or make cymbals crisper at 6kHz).

It’s the ideal partner for critical listening or for “tinkering” with the sound, unlocking new textures in your favorite music.

Technical Information (Full Spec)
