The EQ3 Pro SynScan GoTo Mount:
Skywatcher offers this mount as an easy solution for amateur astronomers who do not want to use a heavy mount but do not want to forgo motorization and computer control.
The EQ3 Pro SynScan mount uses the same GoTo system that is used in Skywatcher’s larger mounts. It allows the user to point to any object or to start a guided tour of the night sky with the push of a button. The extensive database contains over 42,900 objects of the night sky.
The EQ3 mount can be attached to the same tripods as the EQ5.
The EQ3 Pro SynScan mount is the perfect instrument for beginners, for both visual observation and astrophotography. This is where you can start affordably and with minimal setup effort.
