A large and decorative terrestrial globe by Ludwig Julius Heymann, published by Wagner & Debes, dating from approximately 1915.
This impressive early 20th-century globe has a diameter of 32 cm and is mounted in its original graduated meridian ring on a turned wooden stand.
The globe shows the political geography of the pre-World War I / early World War I period, making it an interesting historical cartographic object. Globes of this size were typically used in schools, offices, or educational institutions and are today appreciated for their decorative appearance and historical value.
