Description from the seller

Émile Gallé (1846–1904)
Émile Gallé is one of the undisputed masters of Art Nouveau in France, famous for his glass and furniture creations. Originally from Nancy, he founded the École de Nancy in 1901, an artistic movement devoted to decorative art inspired by nature. An innovator in glass techniques, he developed laminated glass and acid etching, creating works with floral and botanical motifs of great finesse. His work reflects a deep poetic and symbolist sensibility. After his death, his workshop continued to produce signed pieces, often accompanied by a star.
