Description from the seller
I offer for sale an elegant coffee service consisting of three pieces in 800 silver: a coffee pot with a hinged lid, a sugar bowl with a lid, and a creamer. All items are stamped 800 and 93 PA, a mark attributable to the silversmith Antonino Caruso of Palermo, as shown by the research carried out.
The service presents a classic, harmonious line, with a bulging body, circular foot, and a delicate beaded decoration along the edges. The coffee pot has a slender spout and an elegant, well-proportioned handle; the lids are original and fit correctly. The set is balanced and refined, typical of Italian silver production of the 20th century.
The heights are respectively:
– 17 cm the coffee pot
– 14 cm the sugar bowl
– 14 cm the creamer
The total weight is 388 grams.
The conditions are good, with normal signs of aging and a light patina consistent with the objects’ age. I have not found evident structural defects. The photographs are an integral part of the description.
An authentic and pleasant service, suitable for both use and collecting, for those who appreciate traditional Italian silverware.
