Centrepiece - Silver metal - Plate service

Grand and elegant oval platter in silvered metal signed LOYS, made in the Art Nouveau style at the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th century.
The piece is distinguished by superb hammering work at the center, surrounded by a engraved decoration of flowers and stylized foliage, typical of Art Nouveau aesthetics.
The ends of the platter feature a very rich relief decoration of flowers and leaves, with finely chased and pierced details. This type of naturalistic decoration was very popular in the decorative arts around 1900.
The platter is signed "Loys", visible on the surface (see photo), attesting to its origin.

Its elegant shape and floral decoration give it a very beautiful decorative presence.
Good overall condition considering its age.
